I went there under a student exchange program. I am glad that I went. A once in a lifetime experience! It would never be the same.
Now I missed them so much. My foster family, their family friends, friends and others whom kindly helped us to get used to the environment there. I am really glad of the care from my foster family. They treated me so kindly. I stayed with them for 2 days, guess what, I slept on the floor, in the living room. It is so different in Malaysia. I used to read in comics that they slept on the floor but thinking that their house are kindda big. Well, look at Nobita's house XP
Haha! No complains because that is the norms, but it is fun. They welcomed me with fire crackers! We lighted them up together at that night after dinner. Even for dinner, okaasan was so worried that I am not used to the food, so she prepared dumpling which is very much chinese-liked food for me :D I am so loved right? Then, of course they had fun teasing my broken and literally checking the english-japanese dictionary for every word japanese XP
What I loved the most is they actually brings me out to various places. What is most memorable is certainly the school. We are given the privilege to visit a school. It was school holidays back then, so there is no one there, and my parents actually invited a teacher and group of students to demonstrate tea ceremony for us (me and another friend). I didn't know the tea is sooooo bitter. When I took the first sip, awww.. then the sensei, offered us mochi~ Haha!
All this are memories back in year 2008. I had lost contacts with a lot of them. But, thanks all of them for all the great memories. Even if I revisit Japan, it will never be the same! They painted the Japan Trip with such unique colours! Arigatou~

To those whom wonders, if you should do it, those whom are scared and worried to go to the foreign country alone, please muster up your courage and go. The experience gained is never the same and I am sure you won't regret it. It can be very fun going to the country even when you know nothing about the language and started pointing here and there hoping to express it XP
